Hello!

Wow, some of you are still visiting this website to keep in touch. Well, I am too busy, and I have got one other current website to update.

Problems brought up to me include the Archive not working as well as the small fonts. Well, both problems have been resolved. Apparently, I deactivated the Archive last time since there isn't much update in 2010. I activated it again for those who want to review past activities.

Give your blog addresses to your friends via the Cbox so that you can continue to keep in touch. I know Rachel and Sue Kim have their own blogs.

Best Wishes

Hello!

I saw a number of West Spring Sec pupils who came back last Friday.... You are all looking good - radiant, happy and healthy! Seems secondary school life suits you well... I am glad!

May I suggest that you continue to keep in touch using Facebook? I am afraid I would not be using this website for a long time.

Should any of us wish to write me, I can be reached at goh_chin_inn@moe.edu.sg

Enjoy this phrase of your new life~ It's going to be a great experience!!

Goodbye everyone!

What a nice way to celebrate National Day and the Youth Olympic Games (YOG)!!
6H have shown that we have the brains and the brawn, and we managed to complete all 11 stations. Nevermind that we fell and failed at some point, we got up and continue to strive! That's the Olympic Spirit, Children!!

Don't miss your teacher!

Miss Goh and Darrell, from our last trip. I realised there isn't a picture of me in the blog at all! So I decided to let everyone know I am always with you.... Hopefully, this doesn't scare off people from our blog...

Reminder - Holiday Homework!

I don't want to spoil your holiday, but there's work to be done. In case you have lost that list, here's the homework again!

1. English Revision Paper

2. English Casco p70 to 88:
(a) Read the story and highlight good phrases on p70-74 and enter them as a new category in WBB (p41 Mischief).
(b) Complete p81-88 (puzzle and FIB). Easy to do.

3. Newspaper articles (X 2)
You can pick any 2 articles from the Straits Times (any day, any week). Do NOT use gossip and sports news.
For each article, find the
(i) meanings and
(ii) sentences for 5 new words.

** Build up your vocab by doing more of these!

4. PSLE Maths – p21 to 31. (MCQ + FIB). Show all workings and short statements whenever possible.

5. Science PSLE booklet – specimen papers Booklet A (MCQ) and Booklet B (at the back of the book)

6. Art and Craft – Plywood Painting

7. Setting Targets for Term 3 for each subject.
Fill in the page in your Homework Diary. For each subject, set at least 3 measurable goals (how many pages per day/week)
E.g. Complete 10 pages of EL cloze passages and vocab exercises per day;
Find meanings of at least 10 new words per week;
Redo at least 3 word problems previously taught by Miss Goh per day

8. Remember to find a milk/juice carton and a soft drink bottle (1.5litres) for the next art and craft lesson.
