This is a link to a short film which showcases the plight of children in Philippines. It makes me sad to see that they are people out there who eat chicken ala carte in a way differently from mine.
(1) Remember to upload your 3 learning points at Asknlearn!! (any 3) (2) What did you learn about the pelicans? Write down 1 fact. (3) Those with the wingspan photos are to upload those as well. I have got 2 here.

Mars - Do you want to live there?
The following is the drawings by some of our friends. The first is by Rainer - Space Hotel; the second is by Elsen and the last is by Rachel... Very interesting ideas for NASA to make our dreams (or rather, mine) come true...

Learning Journey @ Jurong Bird Park
Dear everyone,
Please remember to inform your parents that we would be coming back late (at 1.15pm) from Jurong Bird Park. Even though you may be staying in school for your remedials, please just inform your parents.
Things to bring: 1. Water bottle (LOTS of water)
2. Simple snacks (we will have recess in school, keeping the rest of the time for exploring and learning)
3. Some money (bottled drinks cost as much as $3.50 per bottle!! You don't want to waste that kind of money; bird feed is $3 - if we get a chance to go to the Lory Loft where you get to feed birds)
4. A hat/cap/ raincoat to keep out the sun and the rain (pray hard we get a good day)
5. camera and handphone (at your own risk! Mr Ravi reminded all of us that handphones can only be used for emergency only, not take pictures of your friends for no good reason)
6. a small bag to put in those stuff you need to bring along. Big bags stay in the classroom.
7. Your activity sheet and pen which you would be getting on the day.
8. A clipboard would be loaned to you. Please take care of it and return to me after the trip.
